This latest Julia Lighthorn mystery tackles many serious topics, such civil rights issues following the takeover of Hong Kong by China, Global Finance, white collar crime, and that mainstay of all thrillers – organised gangsters – in this case Triads.
But most of all, I hope it is an entertaining thriller, and has already been reviewed as “witty” and “rollicking read”.
